The color seems to be the most popular color because it is the color of love. When someone thinks of love, they think red. When they think red, they think love. Love is the one thing that all humans need to survive or at least be able to function on a day to day basics. People enjoy it so much, because they can actually feel the love.
Many people have used this color and apply it to a day to day life. Here are some objects, items people that use the color red, and use them to there advantage.
Power Rangers
The power rangers leader always wear red. In this show, the color red shows power, and authority over others around them Red being the leader. The color read makes people stand out, its the most vibrant color of them all. Thus making it the leader, the one getting most of the attention.
Umbrella
Now red umbrella are the most typical movie scene ever. When a girl or guy is in the rain, and holding a red umbrella to show some color or the contrast of color to give the movie a better or picture a better look.
Red Album / Lip Stick
Taylor Swift does a album regarding this color due to its popularity. Since everyone likes red, might as well cash in on it. She has a whole song about how love is red, and different colors using different emotions. She is also wearing red lipstick, which you would offend see in shows and usually meaning passion.
Red Shoes
Red matches anything! The contrast, red shoes to be pretty popular as well. It will never go out of style, and people can’t say you can’t match, because it doesn’t fully have to.
HEART
The heart is red. Out of everything, the heart is what makes the color red so popular and likable among everyone around us. It gives us life, it gives us passion, something to go off of. Desire, love, all the things that humans seek for.

Its cousin, MAROON. Maroon is truly taking the spot of wear red used to be. I believe it is because maroon is more of a royal color, and has that hipster feel because it is the same genre as red but it isn’t as bright, but has the same taste.
Red will never fully die out, people will always wear red, but it is going down slowly. One day it just might be, America’s most popular color is : Maroon.
